Philmac Australia awarded Irrigear’s Supplier of the Year 2022. 

Philmac winning Irrigear’s Supplier of the Year 2022 Award at the recent Irrigear National Conference in Melbourne, was all the more remarkable given that it was the third win in a row. The Irrigear Supplier of the Year (SOTY) is primarily based on feedback from Irrigear’s Member Stores, across criteria that include product quality, support and training. Irrigear General Manager, Simon Treptow, summed up what the Award means to Irrigear Member Stores and their Customers: “Every Irrigear store values the partnerships they have with their Suppliers. Philmac’s high levels of professionalism, product quality and service support, means the stores can, in-turn, offer a higher standard to their Customers. Philmac’s win is great recognition of all the hard work and commitment of everyone at Philmac.” Congratulations to the entire Philmac team.

Adelaide-based manufacturer, Philmac, is no stranger to the podium on Irrigear’s awards nights – once again being named Irrigear’s Supplier of the Year (SOTY). The win makes it three consecutive wins for the innovative producer of fittings, valves and connectors. 
 
Philmac’s General Manager of Sales AUS/NZ, Shane Chisholm went on to say “The Irrigear SOTY Award means a great deal to Philmac. We employ over 300 people in Adelaide that are mainly involved in the manufacture of our products and the Philmac team gets such a boost from such prestigious recognition. The current levels of service of industry suppliers to Irrigear is very high, so this makes this Award even more special."

Irrigear continually seeks to 'raise the bar' on professional standards and practices, by continual programs of training, information exchange, networking and review processes which recognise excellence.

Yearly, we celebrate the achievements of our 'Irrigear Family' through two major Awards – 'Member of the Year (MOTY)' and 'Supplier of the Year (SOTY)'. The winners are selected based on results of an annual appraisal process, that scores Members and Platinum Suppliers across a range of performance and industry criteria. This year’s Awards were announced in August 2023, at the Irrigear National Conference in Brisbane, Queensland amongst Irrigear Member Stores and Platinum Suppliers.
